Since 2022, Berlin based singer-songwriter and producer Jovid has been immersed in the realm of alternative Indie Pop and Indie Folk.

His songs are characterized by a blend of acoustic guitars, electronically infused beats, and organic textures, resulting in a mood that is both melancholic and powerful. 

His lyrics deal with interpersonal relationships, partly fictional, which inspire him to write about.

Besides of releasing his own music Jovid (David Friedrich) has also made steps as a songwriter and producer for other artists and thereby recorded guitars and keys for Keinemusik’s song ‘Feeling’ featuring Ry X, Diplo’s ‘Highrise’ ft. Leon Bridges and OVO artist Naomi Sharon’s single ‘Another Life’, in which he took part as a co-writer.
